ShakeAway is the original re-inventor of MilkShakes!

Way back in 1993, creators Rob & Peter had a eureka moment in their café bar when they blended a packet of Rolos - it was the first Rolo MilkShake, the first MilkShake made using such an ingredient, and they started their path towards their new style of the age-old drink.

After six years in the café bar (with 30 flavours of their MilkShakes) they opened the first ShakeAway in Bournemouth in 1999. Now with over 150 flavours, 60 shops around the world (including Australia, Cyprus, Ireland and - soon - the Middle East) and having created a whole new retail sector, Rob & Peter still head-up ShakeAway and are as passionate about their brand as ever.

Although many have copied their idea, Pete says "We are proud of the fact that we are the originals. The ShakeAway brand is really well known now and we think that although we have expanded way beyond our early plans, we still have the same vibe as when we had just a few shops. The shops are fun, friendly and most importantly, the MilkShakes are the best around!"

ShakeAway launch their debut single 'Shake it'

Maintaining their sense of fun ShakeAway created a pop group made up of ShakeAway Customers. Natalie, Billy & Christy became "The Shakettes" and, along with the voice of X-Factor, Peter Dickson, the original song "Shake It" was released in August 2010.

Scott Mills from Radio1 is backing the record & running a campaign with all his celeb friends.
